Research Management Unit (RMU)
The Research Management Unit (RMU) was formerly known as the Unit of Research, Development and Commercialization (URDC). RMU is an affiliate of the Research Management Centre (RMC), Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) UiTM Shah Alam. This unit was established to encourage and coordinate research activities in addition to managing the consultation records. RMU also conducts training programmes in basic research and coordinate internal resources to support research activities in UiTM Sarawak. In addition, this unit provides specific programmes with the departments and faculties in UiTM. The unit also collaborates with other universities and institutions, as well as government and private agencies in strategic areas of importance.
